13 Adlerian Influences


Adler's psychology may be understood in liaison and continuity with diverse streams of 'existential' psychology. Such psychologies are, broadly, 'aristotelian' in so far as they are concerned with the purposes, or 'ends', of life and living - and are, perhaps, concerned with 'ethics', as much as psychology, in so far as they seek to establish what constitutes the 'good' life.
